Winter Snowflake Collection in Aquarell
The ‘Snowflake’ collection explores the balance between natural texture and sophisticated design. Inspired by the geometric yet organic shapes of real snowflakes, the project focuses on translating these delicate patterns into a clean and minimalist design language.
The design process began with hand-painted watercolour studies to capture the softness and irregular beauty of natural forms.
These initial designs were then carefully developed into digital vector illustrations, retaining the character of the original forms whilst enhancing their clarity and structure.
A cool colour palette of blue and turquoise tones was chosen to convey the calm and tranquil atmosphere of winter.
The designs were developed into seamless patterns that can be used in a variety of ways on different surfaces and products.
The result is a cohesive collection that combines traditional illustration with contemporary pattern design, emphasising both precision and organic expression.
