There are colors that instantly enchant you—indigo is definitely one of them for me. While strolling through Munich with my cousin, I fell in love with this special watercolor from Winsor & Newton. It was a spontaneous purchase that feels like a little treasure.

At home, I took out my Illustrator coloring pages, dipped my brush in the paint, and got started. With every drop of water, indigo unfolds in a whole new way: sometimes soft and flowing, sometimes strong and mysterious. It’s a color that likes to do its own thing and always surprises you.

It’s almost as if indigo tells stories – of depth, freedom, and a touch of wildness. That’s exactly what makes it so appealing to me: never completely predictable, but always full of magic.
